Roadside markets for road trip snacks

Looking for ways to avoid stopping at convenience stores for packaged, processed snacks while on a road trip? We made a great discovery over the weekend near Moncton. Instead of stopping at the Silver Fox in Salisbury we discovered The Green Pig on the other side of the highway (same exit). The Green Pig carries local produce, NB-grown dried cranberries, Covered Bridge chips and NB cheese (feta & cheddar). If you want to pick up some groceries on your way home from a trip they also carry freen range chicken (frozen), naturally raised meat and free range eggs.

Does anyone else know of small markets that are easy to find?
